Anonymous DNA paternity tests

Anonymous DNA paternity tests are intended for customers who want to verify a man's biological paternity to a child for whatever reason. As this type of testing is anonymous, the resulting information is intended only for them and it is not often possible to use it in a court of law as evidence.

DNA tests are performed in a totally anonymous way - we do not verify the customer´s identity. Indeed, customers do not need to use their true names when contacting us. In every laboratory protocol, each sample is processed solely under a number. The laboratory staff does not receive any information concerning customers. Names, addresses and results are considered very confidential information that is reserved for a limited number of administrative staff.

To provide paternity test, it is necessary to take a cell sample from the alleged father, child, and preferably, from the child's mother. The sampling is performed without any discomfort, by rubbing a buccal swab (see detailed information about sampling) on the inside surface of the mouth. Samples are sent by a customer to GENERI BIOTECH where they are analysed. Results of the paternity testing are sent back to the customer within five working days after we have received the samples.

If the samples from an alleged father, child and child's mother are available, it is called three-part paternity testing. If there are samples available only from an alleged father and child (child's mother´s sample is not available), it is called two-part paternity testing. In both cases, the price of anonymous paternity testing is the same - 4950 Kč (approx. 195 €).

The three-part paternity testing and two-part paternity testing do not differ by a price or a technique of analysis. They differ by reliability of result. Generally speaking, three-part paternity testing is more reliable than a two-part and a customer should prefer it, if possible.

In our P-TEST, there is detailed information that will help a potential customer to decide whether paternity test is suitable in his case. We will send the P-TEST upon request. Besides the useful information, all the sampling tools are included inside.

Practical instructions for providing paternity testing:

• Test applicant orders P-TEST (CZK 350) or P-TEST plus (CZK 450). Both sets provide the same contents, with the difference that P-TEST plus moreover contains a DVD with a film, which shows detailed sample collection instructions, takes you through the entire process of laboratory sample processing, and explains how the results are evaluated.
• If he/she decides to order paternity tests (after he/she has read the booklet included in the P-TEST), he/she will then take samples from himself/herself and a child and/or from another child´s parent too. Taking samples is very simple and detailed instructions are provided.
• A customer will send the samples to GENERI BIOTECH. The P-TEST includes all necessary materials for sending samples.
• The result of the paternity testing will be ready within five working days after samples have been received by GENERI BIOTECH.
• The result of the paternity testing will be sent back to the customer in the way that the customer chose.
