History of the P-TESTIn 1998, GB came onto the market with an equivalent of today's P-TEST. At that time it was not as elegant (in the sense of the wrap and design) but it contained basically the same tools. It was called "Information and Sampling Kit".
1998
 The first possibility to have a paternity test done anonymously not only in the Czech Republic but probably in all of Europe (according to then an ineffective search on the internet) was in 1998, using our Kit. DNA tests were then provided but not anonymously. The 1st advert for an anonymous paternity testing appeared in MF on April 2, 1998.
The number of FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) published in the brochure (included in the P-TEST kit) were growing gradually. During the first few years we selected questions that were either really often asked or they were so interesting that it would be a pity to lose. In 2008 we released the 5th issue of the brochure.
2005
The price of the kit is kept at 350 CZK, however, the price of the test was changed a few times. Until 2003 the price of two-part and three-part paternity tests had differed. Since 2005 the price of the test was set to 10.950 CZK and from 2008 was reduced below 5.000 CZK, thanks to innovations and growing number of customers. Thus our price is in a low part of the price range common in Western Europe and US. For the future, we want to follow a sensible price trend for a high quality product.
2006
In 2006, we came up with another important step, we were the first on the market and maybe in Europe to distribute P-TEST kits to pharmacies.
2009The set P-TEST plus was introduced to the market in 2009 (CZK 450). This set provides the same contents as P-TEST, completed with a DVD with a film, which shows details of the sample collection procedure, and also laboratory processing and evaluation of results. We apologize to our website visitors that we do not publish the number of tested individuals for commercial reasons.
